Manny, also known as the Headless Man Horse, or more fully the Headless Man Horse of the Apocalypse, is a horse who had the head of a Scrooge McDuck statue. He is later revealed to be a gargoyle. He was voiced by Keith David.

Personality[]

Manny seems to be very obedient, often taking orders from Gyro Gearloose or Scrooge McDuck.

Description[]

Manny is a gray horse with a black tail. A brown saddle is on his back at all times. He also has a Scrooge McDuck statue head on his neck. The head often reflects how Manny is feeling.

Later, when his true head grows in the place of his statue head, he has demonic orange eyes, black hair and black leathery wings. He also wears a beaded necklace.

Powers[]

  • Enhanced Durability: Throughout the series, Manny has shown that he is quite durable, able to take many beatings from both Mega-Beaks and Magica's shadow army.
  • Immortality: Manny is immortal, as despite being headless, he is still alive.
  • Apocalypse Inducement: As the bringer of Armageddon, Manny in his true form has the power to instigate a metaphysical end of days that will vanquish the world according to Phantom Blot.But he had decided to never do it under any circumstances.
  • Transformation: Manny can morph back into his original form for the purpose of re-assuming the lion's share of his full power.

Trivia[]

  • In the series finale, Manny shows allusions to the Disney Afternoon series Gargoyles:
    • The theme plays when Manny transforms with Goliath's gargoyle wings.
    • Goliath's voice actor, Keith David, makes a return of sorts voicing Manny, even shouting "I live again!", which is commonly used in the aforementioned show's opening sequence.
  • His name is a reference to both the Headless Horseman and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
  • Throughout the show, Francisco Angones ran a twitter account posting from the perspective of Manny.[1]
